Land’s End has no musical centre. I’m Loz, a sound designer, producer, artist and music-maker based in St Buryan, near Cornwall’s western tip. Down the road, Porthcurno was once a major international telegraph station, receiving and sending the world’s messages through cables beneath the sea. That connection between this remote coastline and the wider world feels right for a radio show. Among standing stones, sea fog and strange local histories, Land’s End moves through soundtracks, folk, beat driven sounds, forgotten discoveries and new electronic music, following feeling, rhythm and unexpected connections.

The music is threaded with my own short sound pieces: fragments of voices, radio interference and small musical passages that surface throughout the hour, giving Land’s End the feeling of a transmission you’ve stumbled across.
